After reading a review, I was planning on getting a sp101 in 327 as well, but I haven't seen one yet.

well If they are on such a waiting list, that is only good...I am just worried that in 10 years it will be unable to buy ammo for it if it does not take off.

Guns chambered in .327 Federal will also shoot .32 H&R Mag, .32 S&W Long, and .32 S&W short. .32 H&R Mag was never a huge success, but ammo is still available for it. Worst case scenario is you might have to hotrod your hand loads using .32 S&W Long brass.

Indeed, Well I am seriously looking at using a Sp-101 for a CCW, and the .327 SP-101 looks like a ideal little CCW revolver. In fact, I might talk to my local gun shop in ordering one in the future.

My opinion, FWIW, is that if S&W introduces a revolver in this caliber, its future is assured. Without S&W, I would be worried.

From what I've read- this would be perfect in a light J frame.

The 327 Fed would probably get me to trade in my S&W 642-2 if S&W would make one.
