32ACP vs. 380ACP

I own a Ruger LCP and it will fit in any pocket of clothing I own and I have no problem with the recoil so for me if my purpose is for pocket carry and the LCP works good wold there ever be any purpose for me to own a 32ACP?

Also isny 32 ammo higher?Not sure if its the case everywhere but I never see 32 ammo at Walmart

For very small 32's would Keltec and Beretaa Tomcat be the most popular sellers?

i don't see the point in owning a 32 if you already have a LCP and don't have an issue with the recoil.

I kind of want a Tomcat, but I would have to warn you to check out the durability problems they are known for. They might have been fixed, but I'm not clear on that.

I own and carry a tomcat daily. I like it a lot but it is not a pocket pistol. It is heavy and bulky (it weighs the same as some light weight 9mms). What I love about it is it "feels" like a "real" pistol. I have small hands and I can fit all my fingers on the grip (with the pinky on the magazine floor plate). The manual safety and DA with second strike are also pluses and the tip up barrel gives you the ability to check the chamber easily, like with a revolver. I love the thing, I just wish it wasn't so heavy. Its a great little belt gun, or a jacket pocket gun but it sure doesn't fit in my pants. (I have actually carried the thing in an Ankle holster for a while). The gun is very wide.

I am actually looking at getting a p32 or the TCP in .32 because of the weight issue.

I know there have been some reliability issues about the slide cracking, but I have not had a problem with mine. I like it enough that even if (or when) I get a replacement, I wont get rid of it.

I've got a Taurus PT-22, similiar gun, and I really like it, so I've been itching for a Tomcat for some time now.

Since you already have an LCP, I see no reason to expose yourself to another caliber that serves the same purpose. I went with the KT P32 for my pocket pistol from the beginning and I am happy with it. But I see no sense in you switching to a .32 acp when you have a perfectly functional .380 that you shoot well with.

I've a gen 1 P32...all bugs worked out long ago and 100% reliable.

I have both No reason to have 32 unless recoil of 380 bothers you Wife hates my 380 KelTec but loves her 32 KelTec.
Beretta tomcat To heavy and trigger pull also heavy I have tried but for the price and the frame cracking on blue (might be corrected) I went with KelTec Have 4 total and all have worked fine right out of box Newest one a Christmas present another 32 for wife so #1 daugther can have her 32.

I have a Seecamp 32 ACP and a Kel Tec P3AT limited edition with Crimson Trace. If i had to choose just one it would be the Kel Tec. Like the larger size. As soon as i can find a Kel Tec PF9, i may replace both with the 9MM. PF 9 larger. but should fit just fine in my pocket. We shall see. 32 ACP is just not the oopmmph that a 9 MM would be.

Remington FMJ .32 auto has been available sporatically at the Walmart here in Miami. I have bought several boxes over the past 6 months, priced just under $20 a box. I have not seen any .380 during that same time period.

No, you have absolutely no need for a .32.

If the .380 recoil doesn't bother you, I think that the only reason to get a .32 would be ammo availability and ammo price. I have been able to find .32 both at LGS and online for the past year, when other calibers were out of stock. I just paid $11.50 per box of 50 from online dealer (500 rounds purchased).
