332 O/U problem???

My bottom barrel has failed to fire twice now. The primer strike looks light, but not really different that the top barrel.

I took it apart, cleaned it and rem lubed everything. the firing pins were sticking a little but, but nothing that should be a problem. I did notice that when the hammers were dropped, the firing pins do not protrude from the receiver. is this normal?

Most O/U's have a hammer return spring on the bottom barrel firing pin and some have springs on BOTH barrels. The firing pins won't protrude if they have these return springs around the firing pin.

You actually "took apart" a 332? Did you just break it down? Anyway, spray in there with an actual cleaning agent. RemOil does not qualify. Get the wood out of the way, and go to town with the GunScrubber. THEN give er' the RemOil.
