A buddy's SKB has a past habit of breaking firing pin springs on its lower barrel.
As a favor (he's not been shooting; the shotgunners can't get primers either), told him I'd have a look.
Got the tool required to remove the firing pin bushings; spring seemed okay.
Put everything back, hammers cocked, but now the trigger will not move.
Can't see anything obvious blocking it, but it won't move. Safety position makes no difference.
Ideas?
Thanks,
Moon

Pull the stock, I'm fairly certain you have a chunk of something rolling around in the action, and that's the quick way to find it.

And when you get it working, tell your buddy there are plenty of Cheddites primers available and Nobel Sport primers aren't all that hard to find either.

Stocks off, and I've been having a really hard look for some odd part rattling around in there.
There doesn't appear to be anything loose or broken.
I can see where the sear levers engage the trigger, where the cocking rods engage the hammers, and how the barrel selector works; all that seems to be in order.
But the trigger won't move in any direction, period.

ETA- the guy is recovering from lung surgery, so he might not get back to breaking birds right away.

OK drive the pin holding the trigger out, SKB O/U's have the selector on the trigger so be aware of that as you do. The jam is probably one of the parts in the connector system for the selector.
Numrich's schematics on their site are very helpful, and if you need parts, they usually have them, or at least will let you know the correct name for them.

 There is nothing like running over your own tow cable....
Pulled the stock, and had a close look, with good light and magnifying glasses, before I went to bed...thot' I noticed something green in a cranny.
Green....and then I had one of those 'road to Damascus' moments. I'd put some penetrating Locktite on the threaded bolt that holds the buttstock. Well, apparently it penetrated waaaaaay too well, and found its way into the tight fit around the trigger...where it set, and wouldn't allow it to even wiggle.
An hour of penetrating oil and nail polish remover seems to have gotten things cleaned out, and the trigger moving freely. I have the trigger pin out to allow freer movement. I'll wander back to the shop, and put it all together after dinner.
Been on a roll with the green Locktite; usually put just a dab on the knurled locknut of my tang sight, to avoid brushing/moving the adjustment. Ran into the same problem; held a little too well...
Thanks,
Moon

It happens. At least I was able to point you in the right direction. Glad you got it taken care of.

I have an SKB 600 Trap sitting in layaway right now. Walked into the LGS and saw it in the used rack, along with a 37T bought from the same person.
After I get the 600 paid off, if the 37 is still there, I might get that too.
