i took the md 12 out to shoot for the second time and had several ftf, light primer strikes, so as i was going to take it apart to give it a good cleaning and check the hammer spring and fireing pin. the fireing pin was worn so i decided to install a new fireing pin. every thing went as planned and boy was it full of crud. also took the butt stock off to see if there were any marks to confirm it is a tournament grade, but as the stock was cut to put on a non factory recoil any marks were long gone. with the wood and straight grip stock and solid rib i was hopeing to confirm it to be a real tournament grade. after selling several of the items that i bought along with the md 12 that brought the price of the md 12 and fireing pin down to a grand total of 200.00. and the new fireing pin cured the light pin strikes. eastbank.
