357 For Wild Hog Backup?

A wild hog will make me back up too.

A .357 will do the trick if you keep pumping lead in to them.

Shoot em early and often.

I love my .45 colt with Buffalo Bore or a similar load, if you load your own, no problem, the .357 will do it, just use a good load, good shot location, low recoil compared to the .45 or .44 mag.

I carry a 4" .357 as a back-up when hunting hogs and I have gone to it for my primary gun if we got into heavy brush. No worries... it will get it done. I also vote for loads using bullets that are 158gr or more.
