.357 mag load data

Do a search here, in this forum, for "replica reloads" or "GDSB 135-gr." or something similar, and you will probably turn up some recipes. A few years ago several of us worked on loads for 135-140 gr. lead bullets in both 38 Special and 357 Magnum cases.

added on edit: And, check Ramshot's loads, esp. for True Blue....

Lyman's 49th got nothing for ya, closest in it is 120 or 150. 150 has loads with bullseye, herco, blue dot, HS-6, AA#7, AA#9, 2400, N110, H110, and IMR 4227.

Let me know if any of those interest you.

The LEE relaoding book, Modern Reloading (2nd addition) has loads for;
135 grain Lead bullets, 140 grain jacketed, 140 grain XTP and 145 grain Lead Bullets if that helps you any.

No offense intended to the OP, but this is the exact reason for a new reloader to find a load before you purchase components...

Just for your information MDI, I have been reloading for 30yrs, and I did not purchase these bullets they were given to me by someone getting out of reloading.

Geez.

I had some possible load information, but now I'm afraid to say it!

FWIW, I reloaded my first ammo, .38 Special, in 1970. With what little experience I have, I haven't had to ask for load data on a forum for unlisted bullets. I did my research and loaded safely. But I stick to my words; a new reloader (and most others too) should have a load in mind before purchasing components, just common sense. Also, I pay very little attention to any forum "expert", "gun shop guru", or web site (except powder manufacturers, and those I triple check against my manuals) and get my loads from a published maual. I've read/heard some down right stupid and even dangerous load suggestions in gunshops and on forums, and there are enough loads in my manuals to keep me shooting/experimenting for a loooong time...
