What are you calling hardcast? Its definition seems to be fluid.I’ve got the Lyman 173gr semi wadcutter mold -
anyone use that big Bullet in there marlin with 357 brass?
Love me some 180xtps - Yet I cast and Powder coat. The 173gr would be pretty cool if hardcast
That's just basic lyman #2. I was expecting something more exotic like linotype.Bh of 16
My Henry eats the 158gr Lee RFN, and the Lyman 358156 with no problems. It will also shoot the 170gr Keith bullets crimped in the crimp groove with excellent results, but are too long for the magazine and have to be fed one at a time thru the ejection port.

i like my .357 loads at 125 gr velocity around 1380 in my desert eagle , i my .357 win i like to load 158 gr at 1790, I strive for loads that make the gun function properly and consistant accuracyI just started loading 357s, and only have 158gr SWCs for use in revolvers. I ordered a Legacy LevTac 92 that will be here Wednesday.
I need to know if the lever action is likely to have feeding issues with these bullets, and if so, what bullets have you had success with?
I am thinking about some RNFP or TCFP bullets in 158gr.
What say ye? Thanks!
