I just picked up a 12" Contender barrel in 357 Max. It looks like my Lee 357 dies will work okay. My manuals indicate that H110, H4227, Alliant 2400 and AA1680 are good powders to use for the Max and I already have some 2400 on hand so that's what I'll start with.
I'm curious as to whether anyone knows if Lil'Gun would be a good candidate for this round? I can't find much data to review. I plan on using Speer GD 170gr. and Hornady XTP 180gr. bullets. I might try some 158gr. XTP flat points down the line.
