... man I really like those 3" 357Mag M60's
If I had one pistol to handle "everything short of deer hunting" it might be one of those. They seem so handy and versatile.

I hear you! I've been wanting that 60-15 for six months. I finally have one.

That's what's so great about the 1892 Carbine in modern .357 and .44 chamberings... deer huntin! with the M60 on yer side. :D

I have a Ruger LCR in .357 that I purchased a few years ago for carry use. It has not seen a single round of .357. I have shot 550 rounds of .38 Spcl through it and have had no issues. As others have correctly said, it just leaves a carbon ring at the front of the cylinders that can be cleaned off.

I practice with .38 LSWC handloads and carry Speer 135+P short barrel factory loads.

The reason I went with the .357 LCR is it weighs 17 oz. vs. 13 oz. in the .38 LCR. I wanted the extra weight to attenuate recoil. One suggestion is to let your wife shoot the gun before purchasing one for her to make sure "she" likes the gun, is ok with the recoil and will shoot it (ask me how I know :)). Cheers!
