It was such a pretty day... the cotton pickers had my deer stand surrounded ... so I played with the chronograph this evening... I have a Pact Model One ... older model with the 24" spaced skyscreens...

I'll share some results ...

Glock Model 31 357 SIG...

Remington Factory 125 gr JHP Averaged 1375 FPS

Winchester White Box 125 gr FMJ Avg. 1353 FPS

Hornady 124 gr XTP, HS 6(W540) 9.0 grs Avg. 1338 FPS

Hornady 124 gr XTP, 800X 10(C) grs 1503 FPS

The 800X load is a compressed load, which helps with bullet setback that can happen with the 357 SIG. 800X does not meter very well as the flakes are huge... each charge was weighted to be dead on 10 grs. This is a stout load!

All load should be worked up by reducing charges 10% and back up ...
The 800X is a set load do not reduce... it is reccomended only at 10 grains by Hodgdon.

Thanks for all the ideas.

I'll may get a Glock, but I will strongly consider a Sig, since I don't own one and have heard good things about them.

I'm not a fan of changing barrels to convert calibers, but that is just me. If it works for you, great.
