I've never owned a Glock, and if I get one I figure I might as well get one in a caliber I don't own.

31 is the standard full-size .357 Sig, of course.
20 is the 10mm, allowing for .357 Sig, .40 S&W and 10mm (nb: I actually don't own any of the three) w/ conversion barrels
22 is the .40 S&W (& .357 Sig)

Is there a reason not to go for a 20, difference in handling or reliability with the conversion barrels? Not concerned about defensive reliability, this is more a pistol to find out how I like the calibers (and Glocks), but I don't want it to be a constant struggle with feeding/extracting/etc..

the g31 was my first glock and wow its a heck of a gun. im considering a g32 since the g19 fits me so well.

My G31 has been awesome!! I have used it to shoot GSSF matches and IDPA. Always suprises me how accurate is is....
I would think the only advantage over the G20 is that it is slimmer - conceals very well for a full size semi. The advantage over a G22 may be eliminating any mag problems - although the majority have no problems - and point of impact may be slightly different. I know this is the case ( POA / POI ) when I put the .40 barrel in my P229. By the way, the 357 sig is just way more fun than a .40..... My P229 has almost 4000 rounds of 357 sig thru it while I've only fired 200 rounds of .40 S&W.
Also, if you shop on line ( Gunbroker, Auction Arms ) sometimes you can get a good deal on Sig caliber pistols ( not as many users as the .40 S&W ). I got a great deal on my G31 and it was virtually new!!! still had the grease on it and everything!!!

I personally think the G32 would be just right for .357 Sig. If you like the size of the G20 and want to buy extra barrels, then that one would probably serve you best.
