I’m planning on purchasing a 357 Sig. caliber Ploy handgun. What are your opinions concerning the following three handguns. GLOCK 32, S&W M&P Compact .357 Sig. or the Springfield Armory XD Compact. Everything is objective but I would like to know their strengths and weakness. Cost is not a factor.

Thanks,

Turk

Go rent all 3, put a couple mags thru each, you will know which one you want to buy.

TAB wrote the soundest advice available. Could be the greatest thing since sliced bread from written reviews to anecdotes, but if it doesn't fit your hand or feel right, well you have to check elswhere.

i don't like glocks in any other caliber than 9mm, so that counts them out. the m&p's ergo's are great and the interchanagble backstraps is a cool idea, bt something that i really don't need, as i would put one on it and leave it. when poly guns are being compared i will always choose the xd series. i hae a service model 4" and a sc 3" both in .40 and they are awesome guns and i actually prefer the sc. i carry it everyday and shoot it alot. between the 2 they have approx 8k rds through em. i would suggest the xd sc.
