Just thought I'd weigh in on 357 snubs. The guns named so far are all good but if you want to go "old school", the baddest 357 snub of all has got to be the old fixed sight Colt Lawman two inch. It's small enough to carry and conceal, even in an ankle rig, although it is a little too big for front pants pocket carry in jeans. It works great out of coat pockets, especially the map pocket of my beat up leather flight jacket. The trade off for the extra weight and size is that it will handle any magnum load better than the smaller, lighter guns, giving you more control for fast shooting. Second to the Lawman, I'd look at S & W 2.5 inch 66's and 19's, the older the better.
