Does anyone know of a gunsmith or shop with a 358-284 reamer (284 Win necked up to 358)? I'm interested in the possibility of putting together an AR10 chambered for it but my results on the google machine haven't been the most helpful. They are out there so there has to be a smith somewhere with a reamer. I can buy them but would obviously prefer to not spend that money if I can avoid it.

I've found a few reamer rental companies that list the 375/284 but no 358. I didn't think it would be so hard to find.

If available, you can use a 284 or 30-284 reamer with interchangeable pilots and a .350 pilot. Then use a 35 cal neck and throat (N&T) reamer to do the front of the chamber. A little more involved but easily doable.

Look for a .35-284 Win reamer vs .358-284 Win. Did that and the cartridge popped right up. Suggest you find a .35 calibre AR barrel first though. Then net search .35-284 Win.

I found 358-284/35-284 reamers for sale easily enough, but was hoping to find a rental source. For what would probably be a one time use it makes more sense to spend $40 rather than $150 plus.

I haven't seen any 358 bore AR10 barrels. What I want would have to be turned down from a blank, get an extension fitted and drilled for a gas port. If I could find an uncommon 358 Win AR10 barrel it would be an easier job.
