Corbon DPX = Barnes XPB's?
I know that Corbon DPX looks very much like the Barnes XPB bullets that you buy to reload. Compare those DPX expanded bullets with this 275g 500 Magnum XPB expanded bullet:
I have some 500 Magnums that look like the one in the upper photo and those six petals are knife-sharp with sharp points on each corner (12 sharp points total). Plus, those petals are strong. I cannot bend the petals with my bare hands or move them in any way. I guess a pair of pliers could bend them, but not my bare hands!

I would say definitive YES, unless for some strange reason the bullet did not open fully, in which case it would still be lethal -- depending on where the shot placement was.I would wonder, looking at the DPX and HST 9mm, whether the distinct, sharp petals would have a "drill effect" in flesh as they're spinning at a relatively high RPM on impact.
