I've heard of people using .38 Super mags in M1911s designed for 9mm and vice versa. Could I use Chip McCormick Custom 10rd .38 Super Magazines in my RIA M1911 FSTAC 9mm?

Thanks all.

I've used my 38 Super magazines when I swapped out my 9x23/38 Super and dropped in the 9mm barrel in my Commander for cheaper practice.

I have dedicated 9mm magazines for it. Some use the front spacer design, some I own use the rear spacer design. Frankly, I don't see much difference between any of them, including when I run the 38 Super mags.

What you can't do it use a 9mm mag for 38 Supers. So it's not exactly vice-versa. There's not enough room for the longer round with the spacers.
