38 super reloading?

Can I use 9mm dies to reload 38 super?
I was looking at dies the other day and noticed that the RCBS dies where marked 9x19,9x21,9x23 this was on one box. So is the 9mm the same as the others?

Um... You can, but you shouldn't.. 9mm is a tapered case, 38 super is a straight walled case. I've done it in the past, but it will work the brass more than you want it to be worked. The 9x19, 9x21, 9x23 are all tapered cases and all of them are based on the shorter case.. like 38/357 magnum. The 38 super is a semi-rimmed straight walled case that has it's own dies and shell holder.

.38 Super and Super Comp both use the same shellholder as 9MM, but as has been posted, the dies, at least the sizer, are different.
