i have a ppk and 1908's are old and expensive so anyone got any comparible pistols ,i know i like the older ones

Can't go wrong with a Makarov. I vote for the PM, but as above, I'd go with 9x18Mak unless you have other pistols in .380 and want ammunition interchangeability. The Makarov round is comparable in cost and slightly more powerful, as I understand.
