I just got back in to loading .380 this past summer. Lee dies work just fine for me but I noticed on my LCT that a Redding shell holder held those smaller cases im place much better than the shell holder that came with the Lee die set.

As Walkalong said, get a set of 380 ACP dies and be happy. The diameters fo the cases are sufficiently different where the 380 ACP cases will not be sized correctly.

Lee 380 ACP dies work well and are bargained priced although I prefer Redding or RCBS die sets.

Besides, if you have a dedicated die set, you will not have to re-adjust the dies every time you change loading cartridges.

The shell holder for 380 ACP is the same as one used for 223 Remington.

I was able to come up with a set of used Lee dies from a fellow member on another forum for $25.00 including shipping costs. He had gotten rid of his 380 and the dies were just sitting.

I just bought a used set of 380 acp dies and just resized a few hundred pieces of brass I picked up with my grandson at the gravel pit last spring/summer & fall. I will pick up some bullets and get them loaded up to shoot when I buy a 380acp pistol.
I also set up dies for 300 blackout that I have no gun for yet. We also have several hundred pieces of brass for that caliber as well.
