Hello folks, I wanted to know if any of you thought a colt trooper mark III 6" blued w/ factory walnut grips in 95% was worth 400$ out the door?

Obviously if you feel colt revolvers are subpar, feel free to disconcern yourself with my question.

No, unfortunately, I just recently missed out on a 6" blued King Cobra which sold for 450$, I almost jumped off a bridge, I think im going to go ahead and secure this mark III. consider yourself the deciding factor in this!

I just recently traded my only 357, a Taurus 66 and a few dollars for a 4" Stainless KC, as I'm too poor for a Python, and fully intend to shoot my guns, and then shoot them more.

allegedly locked it down, if it all works out expect to see pics, perhaps as soon as friday. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

That's a great price for a Mk.III Trooper. I've seen them go for twice that amount in similar condition.

The way prices on all guns shot up recently, that is a good price. The Trooper Mk III isn't on the level of a Python, but they are good revolvers. Jumping on the sale the way you did was a good move. You won't regret it.

The only thing I might suggest is to get some Wolff springs to lighten the trigger some. I only went down two pounds off of stock on mine, but it made an incredible difference on the pull. There haven't been any light strikes on primers, either. They are only a few bucks at MidwayUSA.

Glad you made the decision to lock it down! You won't be sorry, very nice firearm. A guy I used to work with had one like that, he was retiring and was wanting some cash, $250 and the original 2 boxes of ammo, 10 shot out of them! I couldn't come up with the cash!:banghead: However, about a year after that I divorced, no details here, when the house sold, ol' Ham had some extra then...... so I went and bought a brand new in the box, 6" Colt Python for about $35 more than the retiree was asking!! What a beaut this dude is, I'd still have liked to have the other one, but this one more than makes up for losing the other.:neener: It shoots quite a bit better than I can, but the smoooooth trigger is what's amazing. You'll enjoy yours too, just go dent some primers with it!
