41 Mag. Heavy Wt. Bullet

Anyone have loading data for heavy wt. bullets for the 41 mag. ?

I just got a 250 gr. mould WFN from Ballisti-cast moulds a great bullet at 248 gr. This is my first Ballisti-cast mould and it's top quality. I'm using Lyman GC which fall off. Sure wish Hornady made 41 mag. GC. I used some CA (Cyanoacrylate) glue (it's the glue you use to build remote control airplanes) once glued the check stays. I loaded up a few rounds with H-110 and go a three inch group from 25 yards. I'm also impacting at 314 yards in a hill side this will be a interesting long range bullet to shoot.

.41 mag bullets and loads

As a distributor to dealers of California-Saeco Meehanite 4 cavity competition quality molds in the 1970s I sold thousands and still have a small stash of new molds as I became a survivalist when I retired.

I sold only one size of .41 Mag bullet designed for police stopping power to replace the .357 Mag and the 45acp and that is my Elmer Keith SWC nose 220 grain bullet design. I recommended a mix of tire weights mixed 50/50 with linotype for a flat based bullet. I still have a couple of Smith model 58's as I was also a Police Weapons Instructor and demonstrated the pistols, Star reloaders and Saeco bulletcasting tools to police departments.

I also had a Ruger Frontier that I enjoyed.

I liked 20-21 grains WW296 as mentioned in my Hornaday #3 manual.

I have several 41 molds, brass and 30 pound bars of lino if you were close to me.

I really like the caliber so much better than a 44 mag I just sold my last New Star Progressive Reloader for 44Spl/44Mag to someone at a very famous institution.
