I have a ward westernfield 410 bolt action,i would like to know how old it is.I hear its not worth much but it shoots great and looks good exc cond,I like it.
Various companies made bolt actions in single shot, 3 shot magazine, or 5 shot tubular feed configurations and many were marketed with Montgomery Wards, Sears, and numerous other trade names. The values can vary from $50 to $150 or so depending on model and condition.
Yours should make a great little squirrel/rabbit gun.
A clue to age is, if it doesn't have a serial number it was made prior 1968. Cheap guns usually didn't have one.
A lot of the Wards bolt shot guns were made by Mossberg
