Hello everyone.I have looked around but no having any luck.I am looking for a little help.Trying to find a 18.5" barrel. Or a choke tube/compensator I can permently put on it. Got a great deal on a house gun but want to make it leagle.Someone cut it to short.Has some nice wood on it, with a pistol grip too. Thanks for any help. ;)

I have been looking.Cant seem to find one anywhere.Plus a compensator/choke is way cheaper. But cant seem to locate that either. :(

Nice way to get someone into REAL trouble. Go ahead just bait someone into self incrimination.
Whoops kinda skimmed and all i got was .410 pistol grip
How bout pics whan its finished.
Personally if i was you i would get rid of the barrel asap.

Now THAT I can agree with whole heartedly. I would torch cut it three times: once diagonally at the chamber. Since that is the BAT**** agency's legal way to destroy a reciever, it should be good enough to legally destroy the offending barrel.

Even though they don't list them on line, Mossberg used to sell 410 replacement barrels. Call them and ask if you can get a replacement 18.5" cyl bore barrel. All they need to know is your was "Damaged". They may be nice enough to sell you one. Small cost compared to the alternative.

Thanks 6x6 thats what I am looking for.I would really like to find just a plane blue barrel with no sights if poss. But maybe just add to the one thats there already. pics? maybe when done.I bought it as a project gun to rebuild as a house gun for the wife and some fun plinking.
Thanks guys.:)

Before you destroy it make sure it actually is too short. Measure it using a dowel or cleaning rod inserted into the barrel, and resting against the closed bolt face. Mark the rod at the muzzle, remove, and measure the distance.

If it is too short, yes, you should get rid of it ASAP. The BATFE has no sense of humor.

Have you contacted Mossberg? They still make the .410. Just order a barrel and adjust it to your needs.

tThe barrel has been mesured with a dowl rod.It is 2" short. As far as calling Mossberg that is an option but,I was hoping to go a cheaper route. They seem to want alot for their barrels on their site. But on other sites they are cheaper? I may just have a componsator welded on the end,get it reblued and be done with it depending on the cost. Thanks for your help guys.:)

That tube could get you into a lot of trouble without the proper paperwork and isn't worth being in your possession!

The 18.5" barrel from the 500E Cruiser (#50455) should fit; $68.00.

Call Mossberg customer service to confirm.

Thought I would do a little thread reviving and see if you had any luck. I'm in the same position as you as far as not being able to find a new barrel.

To the o.p. Check out a vid on youtube for Project Codename Dr. Feelgood

That's me in the vid with DFG MK-1

The 50455 barrel will fit no problem as long as both magazine tubes are the same length,be safe and have fun.
