I want to start loading for my 44 Mag/Special revolver soon, so Im doing my research on powders, bullets, ect... It sees as if everything I need to start loading is readily available except for once fired brass.
Does anyone have a lead on once fired brass?

Thanks for any insight you can lend.

Look in Gunbroker, or order new brass so you know what you are getting especially for 44mag.

Two observations. Forty-four magnum is one of the cartridges that has run out of stock slower than pistol cartridges. You might find a local store that still has some in stock.

Second, I've picked up a fair amount of used .44 magnum cases off the ground at my local gun range. Probably half or more of my total stockpiled brass is range pickups that I processed for reloading.

+1 on trying to find it in store. 80% of the brass I'm using now is from factory loadings. I've had good luck with the remington umc if you can find it.

One good thing is that unless you're trying to max it out, the brass should last a while.
