Double Tap 300 gr Nosler semi jacketed hollow point fired from 6" Herter's Single Six through four layers of denim into calibrated 10% ordnance gelatin

BB: 595.1, 3.6"

.44 mag DT 300 gr SJHP

Impact velocity: 1,288 fps
Penetration: 16" of gelatin + 12" of water
Max expansion: 0.741"
Min expansion: 0.685"
Retained weight: 294.4 gr

Hey, thank you for your continued efforts in testing and for your work in putting these videos together. Your labors are not insignificant! I've certainly not seen all of them but from what I've seen you have attempted and succeeded in providing us with some good data. That said, I did watch this one and I must strongly suggest you find a new Music Supervisor.

Bullet appeared to hold together quite well. Excellent expansion and penetration. Would love to see what this does in a 444.
 
Pleased to see Double Tap ammo performing as spec'ed. The DT site has that round leaving a 6" barrel at 1255 ft/s.
