If you aren't fond of gooped bullets (tumble lubed) then you can dip lube them. Alox and 45-45-10 work quite well for me but I don't like the gooped/snotty look of the bullets, so I dip lube them. I warm or thin some alox and put it in a small container. I grab a bullet by the nose and dip it into the alox up to the crimp groove and set it base first on a sheet of alum. foil to dry (for some bullets I use my large tweezers). Bullet body lubed, clean nose. I don't mind the bit of extra work as I have time and I like the results...

Sorry Guys,
I screwed up again.

The figures I gave earlier were Wrong.
Those bore dia & chambers mouths measurements were for My Right Hand Colt SAA in .44Spl.

The measurements for my old SRH are as follows;
Bore .429, Chambers .429-.430, I size .430 for 16bhn.

Which I drive Lyman #429421 - 245gr with a max charge of 2400 or Saeco #432GC over max 2400.
I don't load WW296/H110 under Plain Based lead bullets. It does work well with GasChecked bullets.
For some reason it leads with plain based bullets.
I'll use

I've tried the dip method too.
I use a SMALL pie tin. Pour in around the lined up bullets in the tin( holds about 15 45's), wait 30seconds. Pull out with Surgical clamp, let drip for about 5seconds.
And set down on wax paper to dry over night.
