The grips on the Horton 29s were different than K-frame.
There were some gunsmiths at the time that were doing custom roundbutting and those were K-frame size since no one was making round butt N-frame grips yet.
It's a good thing I liked the smooth wood grips on mine because, at that time, I couldn't find anything to replave them with except Pachmayr square butt ones.
