I voted Colt Anaconda, love mine, superbly accurate, and not bad looking to boot. I am quite fond of my 29-2, but you didn't include that in the running. I also quite enjoy my Dan Wesson 445 Super mag (shoots 44 mag also), but again, not in the running. My 629 gets sticking cases with loads that the others handle with ease. And I am talking loads that are well below max in all the reloading books. I have a Super Redhawk in 480 Ruger, that surprisingly can handle ridiculously hot loads despite the thin looking chamber walls. What ever they did, they did it right and I would bet the 44 is every bit as good. All of the revolvers I have mentioned are very accurate, and no matter which you choose, you will be happy, just don't plan on loading hot in the 629. I have yet to own anything from Taurus, but the Raging Bull is on the bucket list. Some day I will see how they compare, if I can ever bend my mind around those horribly ugly grips.
