I've had the carbide ring pull out of every brand of straight wall sizing die I own. Not every die cause I own several of every brand. I've come to expect this minor failure eventually. Not a problem to correct, just clean it up and super glue or JB weld it back in. They all fail and all fix.
End result based on opinion: I'll never wear one out, so buy what you can afford.
And we all know that light green box and the blue box is lots prettier to look at.
