I've got a .44 Magnum Browning B92, lever action rifle. I've read of others shooting .44 Special cartridges successfully, so I loaded just a few to test first. It seems like their overall length (shorter of course) is allowing the case base to raise too high as the round chambers, and you have to back the lever off a bit, let the round settle lower, and then chamber the round.
Anyone that's successfully loading .44 Specials in a .44 Magnum lever action (preferably a '92).... what bullets are you using?
Thanks a lot!
