Well, I had my 2nd range trip with the 442 today. I was using mostly Winchester 130 gr ammo. I fired a few of the Fiocchi 158 gr I had left and 2 of the Federal low recoil hydrashoks. I really like this gun a lot more than the LCR. I posted in another thread somewhere about how the LCR grips just did not fit my hand, it ended up that it was hitting the bone at the thumb joint and causing a lot of pain. I have the CT 305 grips on the 442, I like that they allow me to have all 3 fingers on the grips. I'm pretty happy with the Winchester ammo. I definitely noticed a difference with the Fiocchi, it stings a little bit more but the Winchester was pretty comfortable recoil wise. It is hard to find so I will probably order it from Cabelas while they have the free shipping. In the meantime I was able to pick up 15 boxes of wadcutters from a police firearms instructor so I don't need anything right away.

I probably fired around 55 rounds with all combined. When my hand got a little sore, I switched and fired the Beretta Neos for a while and then switched back to the 442. My targets were all at 5 and 7 yds and I plan to work my way up to 10 yds after I am better at the 5 and 7. I did a few targets without using the laser and then 1 with the laser. Some of the targets I used were also rather small, they are jpg files someone sent me and printed on 11 x 17 paper so even tho a few are off to the side on the silhouette, in real life they would be closer to center mass. Considering this was only my 2nd time with the gun, I'm not unhappy with how I did. More importantly, even tho I felt the recoil, it was not painful and I am feeling more comfortable with the gun. Here are a few of my targets. On the last one at 7 yds, the round that is high and to the right is when I tried to double tap the last 2. The first of those 2 is center mass while it is the 2nd that is off. Still not too bad on a small target, I think. Here they are.
