christmas...

Do i really need to say more?
...

But seriously, christmas is coming and i want a lever action. im looking at marlins in the .44 caliber category, and was wondering. can you fire a .44 magnum through a .444 marlin safely? i know the pressure would be fine, but are the case dimentions compatable? i hear many people say that the .444 marlin is just a lengthened .44 magnum case, yet i dont hear about too mmany people shooting the .44 magnum through their .444marlin's. and if you can do it, could you do the same with .44 special's out of a .444 marlin? if it could be done would you do it? id love to hear what you think.

just thought it would be neat to get a tripple-purpose rifle.

thanks

NO NO and NO!

444 marlin is much larger in diameter at the case head than the two pistol rounds. Firing a 44mag in a 444 chamber would almost certianlly result in a ruptured case
