We've probably all read the internet wisdom about 45-70 brass from Hornady being to short. Well the stuff they use to load the leverlution ammo, might very well be.
But I decided to take the chance and order some of their component brass.
Well folks fear no more that stuff measures 2.1 inches.
So now I need to get busy and cast some more 45 caliber bullets, I feel another medal from the nationals coming on.:D

Don,
Hornady makes two variations of 45-70 (and other calibre) brass. Component and LeverEver. If it's not marked "LeverEvolution" it's full length. I ran into this in 2014 @ the Wannamaker in Tulsa looking for some 444 and 45-70 brass. It's pretty good brass.

Well as I said this is the component brass. Think I'll get another 150 on the way and get to work with it in the Browning. I like to have each rifle have it's own brand of brass, saves a lot of resizing when building blackpowder cartridge match loads.
