I am reloading using Precision Bullets in 230gr 45 acp LRN. I have ran into an issue of overall length. I am having to seat the bullets below 1.190" in order to get the bullets to seat into my barrel. The Barrel is a LWD aftermarket barrel for a Glock 21.
Is there anything wrong with seating the bullets below 1.190" ?

Thanks in Advance.

That's considerably shorter than the max oal(1.275") for a 230 RN. It won't hurt anything though. OAL for a 200 grain bullet is 1.178". Mind you, a 200 grain bullet is shorter than a 230. Got a factory cartridge? Try one of them. If it doesn't seat properly in the chamber, the chamber might be short.
What kind of crimp are you using? Check the case lengths too. Case length isn't likely the issue though.

I don't know if this applies, but I had at one time gotten an after market barrel for a Glock .40 and I ran into the same problem that you are having. It turned out that the chamber needed to be finish reamed. After that, no more problems.

On the other hand, if you are going to substantially reduce the COL, I'd back off of the powder charge at least a couple of tenths and then work back up. The reduction in internal space in the case for any given charge will cause an increase in pressure. It's just a safety measure.

Factory ammo and empty cases seat fine into the barrel. This is the first time I have used lead and I am not use to seating so deep. If I load them to 1.200" they work fine in my TRP and my Sig 220 (both with factory barrels), but wont even let my glock 21's slide go into battery. The bullets work fine in my glock's factory barrel, and even though the precision bullets are polymer coated, I still get a small amount of leading, so I got this LWD barrel. It may be the barrel , because I dont have this problem in the other pistols I use.
I just loaded a few cartridges to 1.185" and it is still sticking in the chamber during the drop test, but it isnt sticking to the point where I have to ram rod it out. They cycle in my glock with the LWD barrel, and it is going into battery.

I have already dropped 0.3gr of powder due to having to seat deeper. I dont really want to go back to reloading plated bullets because I am saving about $35 per 1000 by using these precision bullets. Then again, I didnt have any of these issues loading plated bullets

I had a problem similar to yours. This is the first time I ever used Precision Bullets. The one I got was the 230 g. RNF. The first recipe I tried called for an OAL of 1.270. When I tried them in my Springer Loaded it wouldn't chamber. I found out that the o-give of this bullet was preventing it from fully chambering. When I went with a recipe that seated the bullet at 1.240 the problem was gone. I tried some different OAL lengths after this and found out that if I keep the OAL under 1.250 I have no problems with this gun.
