FWIW i own 4 rocks a used gi(3k rds) two tacs 500 rds apice.
Just got a citadel, wich armscorp supplies parts.
They also supply parts for sti. Said all that to say this
Rocks works just fine, all 4 are in my edc rotation.
Now its a question of style, and money.
I am just a poor child(lol) the only thing i have done
to the rocks is change mags and springs.

From the list, Sig 220. I own a Beretta PX4 in .45 that's probably around that pricepoint you're looking at. My go to .45 is my Colt Commander XSE.

This gun sounds very promising if I got the P-220 and just wanted to add a 1911 to my collection as one of those gotta have guns without spending too much $$$

Of your listed options, I will say Sig 1911. I have the Tactical Operations, great gun, shoots and handles very well. Everythign is fit together very nicely as well. Actually don't have a single bad thing to say about it.

Course I prefer 1911 to any other handgun
Is the Sig 1911 a smaller gun than the P-220?

There are hundreds of similar guns out now, a TRP or Operator from springfield, A Cobra carry, from Baer, a Sig 1911 tactical, or a FN with the red dot is supposed to be one of the best now, also The new XD is on the same level,Wilson special ops, and Bill WIlson carry,The S&W" e" series, Bobtails, Valor, Fusion and on and on. It depends on what you choose to spend, and what the purpose is, Combat, Target, Concealment, Hi capacity, there are so many choices now, you need to have some parameters. The spread on the sig to the RI is huge, if you are looking for under a grand, I like springfields, or Smiths.
You can get a lot for your money from Smith right now.
I want to stay in the $800 range or lower.

I loved my R1, just the standard model with some Burled wood from Sarge at elite, or a pair of aliens from VZ, you can get that for what you are looking to spend, and the gun needed nothing else, It shot like a dream from day one. I think the more expensive models aren't necessary for what you want. I was shooting under 2" groups with it first time out. And I am no marksmen anymore due to my nerve damage. So you can get quite good with it fast.Around $700 plus a cool pair of grips, or leave the stock ones on it, Sarge has a set called "handlers" that are larger than regular and really make the gun feel great. They cover almost all of the metal on the grip surface.
Also added a pic, of a smith CS45, which is a 6round mag, and 26 ozs, that is also a great little carry gun, I bought some chip Mc'cormic, shooting star 8 round mags with bumper pads on them for mine.

That's the one, $400. Bought it as a beater "truck gun" and the thing out shoots my Kimber. No work done except I drenched it in gun oil to even out the finish.

That RIA has been getting great ratings especially for the price.
