45 GAP Conversion

I think I already no the answer to this question, but I'll ask anyhow. Is it possible to convert a Glock 39 to fire 9mm or 40S&W? I've heard that you can convert a Glock in 40cal to 9mm by getting a conversion barrel.

Even if there were barrels made, due to the wider slide, I doubt there's an extractor that can reliably grab the spent shell

Don't the G27, and the G39 have the same exterior demensions?

Nope. The GAPs' have wider slides. But the frames are the same.

No, not currently however, you could put an entire 9,40 or 357 upper assembly and it would work. The frames of those 3 calibers and the gap are identical. A possible ejector change might be needed but my g19 upper worked just fine.
