From infamous flop to famous tool.
The first batch were miserable ... more like a beta-test of the large platform that was not perfectly thought-out, nor well thought of by the gun-owning public. But Taurus had confidence in their market-niche, and it really was a good scheme. So good, in fact, that two major bullet manufacturers began designing shells that would work in the gun, even before it was perfected. And viola the gun is now beyond the "OMG What IS That?" stage. No-one wants to change any befuddled minds here, but maybe trying to find a Judge, et c. at any real discount is pretty hard -- I mean a 3" x 3" version. I like mine -- an early 3"x3" model, and am custom packing the .410 brass shells with ØØØ & copper plus a bit of Cream'OWheat and 3 discs of total 250gr weight, over 18.0gr Alliant 2400. Makes quite a flash, in daylight. In that price range, THAT is something no other wheel-gun can claim! Dao.
