Thanks for that info, I didn't know the difference. However, the rep from BCA described the barrel as a Wilson Combat.

Is BCA the seller? The seller listed and the response email copied above do not appear to be so.

If 1) you want this particular combination, and 2) it’s priced commensurate to the value of the parts, plus an assembly commission which you feel is representative of the value of your time NOT spent assembling it yourself, then party on.

No that was my mistake. The seller is the Gun Broker guy.
Well, I decided to take a shot (pun intended) and order an upper from BCA. A 16" side charging upper for $260 shipped. If accuracy is acceptable (1.5"@ 100) then it is a winner for a budget build. If it is lousy then I will DTR it and get something like an Atheris.
