Bullseye, Red Dot and W231/HP38 all run best for me at 5.0gr. Lead and plated same as FMJ in the two 1911’s. YMMV.

I use Ken Waters' book, Petloads, as a reference often. His 45-200 LSWC loada are: 45-200LSWC Shur-X , 3.5gr BE, MV=683 with OAL=1.26" as Light and Very Accurate and 45-200 LSWC Hornady, 4.5gr BE at 1.225" OAL, MV = 832fps.and being the 4th most accurate load tested among 12 powders. HIs most accurate load for the Hornady 200LSWC was 6.0 gr Unique.

Hard to beat 4.1gr WST behind a 185gr or 200gr LSWC in a 45acp. I use WST because it 100 time cleaner at reduced loads than BE. These are soft shooting BE loads and have produced 2" groups at 50 yrds if I did my part. My eye sight and aging body makes it challenging, but it's fun ringing a 8" gong at 100 yrds.

My WST load is 4.9 gr behind a 200gr coated SWC. Makes power factor for IDPA and shoots well.

Just got out to the range today with those powder coated Lee 200g SWC's loaded with 4.6g Bullseye. Didn't bring the chrono, but much better feeling than with 5 grains. Plenty accurate and made for a nice day plinking steel
