M855 is SS109; but not all SS109 is M855. The Lake City XM855 offering is military M855 components that have been reassembled into a similar cilvilian offering.

SS109 is a style of bullet that is used in the M855 cartridge.

SS109 bullets can be used in other loadings that are not M855 milspec.

Federal XM193 is made at the Lake City plant, and I believe the M855 load is as well. Here is some XM193:

I thought he wanted a list of 5.56 NATO mfgrs and makes.
