makers are hot loaded, consistent and has thicker or better brass for reloading? Or they are almost at par with little difference at all? I will be shooting these on my AR 15 with 16 inch 1:7 twist barrel... So far ive shot Wolf brand 223 55 gr FMJ and it shoots tight groups with it at 50 yds. I want to stock up on the 5.56 brasscased for the self defense SHTF...

The 420 round can of Lake City XM193 (3rd link) and the 450 round can of XM193 (5th link) are the same thing in different packages. Your 4th link is for XM855, which is totally different ammo. I've had slightly better experience with Lake City than Prvi. It's 37.5 cents per round of the Prvi vs 39.9 cents per round for the LC if you buy it in American Eagle packaging. They're out of the IMI, so who knows what the price will be when they get that back in. At a penny and a half more per round I'd take the LC.

I like the American Eagle AR 5.56. If you choose to go with that Cabela's has it for $6.99 per box of 20 right now. That comes out to about $.35 per round. It doesn't come on stripper clips, if that's important to you.

Yes. Lake city XM193 and XM855 are overruns standard US issue M193 and M855 ammo. Federal operates the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant for the US government.
