I've done some testing and for me I found that either I need to maintain the coating or completely remove it. For cases with the coating intact I just soak the cases in warm water and dish soap for about 15 minutes then let dry out before reloading. For cases with damaged coating I tumble in pins and soap for 4 hours it removes the coating.

How do the cases with the coating removed work in the FN PS90 mags? Do they give any grief loading into the carbine? Are you using the same loads for the carbine and pistol?
I have both the PS90 and the FN pistol. I've loaded a few rounds, but haven't gotten to play with it much.
I appreciate all the work you all have put into it. Thanks for the tips.

Ok, you guys went and did it, as I had 250 deprimed, trimmed, and ready to load, but found some ammo to buy and put them aside, but out they come, and I'm giving them a try. I was very careful with the coating, as I have the FN fiveseven. Will let you know the outcome, and thanks for all the good advice, posted here so far.

the coating is only for the P90 so it can do the 180 degree twist thing. I removed my coating with rubbing alcohol

Does Hornady make a seating die with the metal stem tube that guilds the bullet straight ?

that would be a huge help for this little boy

That is what I use, and a major reason I use hornady dies. Still a pain to load those little rounds. Good luck.

agree, I completely removed the plastic coating with rubbing alcohol and a rag. Looks better too

Seems that small of a case would be not one out of specs by much,either in dies or gat chamber
That fired case looks much bigger All over,,taller too ,,,that’s a big difference in Overall size

I get nervous loading 5.7 … hope all these 5.7 comming out followed by cheap 5,7 ammo

Have seen cases from new guns 3/16s ‘ short oal ,and they chamber n shoot .
No company would admit a dull finish chamber reamer
