5 great blades: pick one

Well my BOB that lives in my trunk has a 5" hunting knife and a hatchet, don't know the brands because I got both of them free. One from my uncle the other from a friend. I figure it doesn't make sense to keep expensive items in my car.

I always carry my Delica and a leatherman or two with me (on person).

I also have tools in the trunk. With a hacksaw and a file + raw material (car itself if needed) you can make a lot of things. Add a dremel tool and you can make them fast. It doesn't take a lot to put an edge on a screwdriver for a spear for example.

I have both the Fallkniven A1 and the Becker CU7. I'd wager the A1 to be the better quality blade but both will work just fine. The CU7 is probably the best bang for the buck.

Another post for BK&T. I've also got the CS SRK and I wouldn't feel bad about having it in my truck either.

I think I'd settle for the Swamp Rat. I've played with a few of the ones on the list except the SR, but if the SR is anywhere close to the Busse's that are made at the same factory, then the SR, at it's price, should be a helluva knife.

None of the above.

For feral dogs, how about a Cold Steel Rifleman's Tomahawk?
