I'm looking to add a 9mm to my collection. I want this to be a full size 9 with a 5 inch barrel. I've been looking around on the internet and have found a few options and wanted to know your experiences with any of these:
*Sig 226 X5 Tactical
*Para P18*9
*CZ 75 Tactical Sports
I currently own SIGs but no SA only. I've never shot a Para and have heard many wonderful things about CZ.

Nice if you want to just spend money. I'd recommend a Glock 34 if you want something fun to shoot.

9mm 1911 - Colt, Kimber, Springfield... or a Browning Hi Power. I have shot the CZ75. It was very nice.

Add to your collection? Well, you can spend money on about anything.
Will you shoot the gun? Where at at what (like some organized competition)?

S&W 952
SIG P210

9mm 1911 - Colt, Kimber, Springfield

I couldn't possibly make my first 1911 purchase a 9mm. As for what it'd be used for...fun. I don't want to spend any more than a $1000, that is still a lot of money. As for the Glocks and XD, I'm not a big polymer fan. Nothing against poly guns, they're not my thing. I owned a Glock 19 and sold it a month later. I do like the XD's over the Glocks but I want to stay away from polymer all together.

I have a CZ 75 Tactical Sport (9 mm) and I've shot my friend's Glock 34 - there is no comparison, as the TS shoots much easier and is far more to shoot accurately and quickly (at least for me). I have a Sig 2009 polymer in 9mm and while it's a nice gun, I find Sigs more top heavy than CZs, so the TS is still my pick. I have no experience with the Para. I love my CZ 75 TS and I've never had a single feeding issue with it, of course, I only shoot S&Bs in the pistol. Good luck.

glock 34 is mighty fine and easy way to satisfy your requirements. Pony up a couple of more bucks and get an STI Trojan 5.0 in 9mm. THAT is perfection.
