I don't often carry a revolver, but when I do it is six or seven. Nothing against 5, just don't have any of those.

My Taurus mod 66 holds (7), mostly on my hip when hunting, helping around the barn, etc. My Smith mod 66 K frame holds (6) and is my "Linus blanket" of sorts. It's my most reliable, most accurate weapon in my arsenal. And it's pretty much within arms reach at night.

Interesting...3 people have mentioned 7+ in this thread, but only 2 people voted for that option in the poll.

Personally, I voted 5-shot even though I rarely (if ever) carry my revolver, but my only revolver is a .357 SP101.

2zulu1, is the barrel on that Smith removable, a la Dan Wesson?
Don't know for sure, but I don't think so. Haven't tried to take the shroud off, but it's drilled and tapped to attach top and bottom rails.

Reason I ask, is because of that spanner nut at the muzzle. I can think of no other reason.
Unless, it's just supposed to be a tensioned barrel.

lowercase, you're right. I forgot about the Police Undercover. I think it can take the same holster as the Bulldog, being built on the Bulldog frame.

Lately, I have been carrying my Taurus 405 40 S&W 5 shot revolver. I really like that gun. My usual carry gun is a S&W 637 5 shot with a CT laser grip. 2 speed strips fit nicely in an old cell phone case for my reloads for the 38, the 405 uses moon clips.

When I actually carry a revolver it's my Birdshead Uberti SAA copy. Holds six, but it isn't drop safe so it's a "load 1, skip 1, load 4 proposition.

I voted 6 but the SP is soon to come off probation (reliability probation of 500 rnds with no Fail to fire) & looking forward to the liter package!!

RSRocket, that qualifies as 7+ in my book.

GP100man, you really have a 500 round probabtionary period for a revolver? Most people I've read have a 1 cylinder period for revolvers, and maybe 100-200 rounds for semi-auto.
