.50 Beowolf

Traded for a 50 caliber Beowolf upper today. Can I put that on my standard AR lower, or do I have to make some changes?

Yes, it will fit on any standard lower. You may or may not have to change out the magazine, or at least the magazine follower. IIRC, the .50 Beowulf uses existing .223/5.56 mags with a new follower designed to keep the cartridges in a single stack, and capacity is around 10 cartridges.

It will fit the standard AR lower and plain Jane AR mags will work but the scar up the brass pretty bad which is not good if you are a reloader. The feed lips are a little shorter on the Beowulf mags. I love mine!

If your running some sort of M4 type of collapsable stock, it may or may not with stand the recoil. I wound up going with an ACE skeleton stock.
