.50 Caliber BP Revolvers Revisited

In a previous thread on this topic, one of our members shared how ROA revolvers could be converted to .50 caliber. Are these conversions limited solely to the Ruger Old Army, or could other quality BP revolvers be modified in this manner also? I find this notion interesting-and expensive. But once I sell my house, then some of the profits from it might fund some BP projects I have in mind. Thanks.
