Looking for some load data for Lil'Gun powder, 350gr. XTP's in a 20" T/C Katahdin ProHunter barrel. Any help would be appreciated. Have looked around the web and come up with no definite numbers. Starting and max load would be great as well as results with any tested loads as well.

The only difference between pistol and rifle data will be the velocity they got with a longer barrel. The pressure limits are still the same as if loading for a handgun.

Lyman #49 lists
350gr Hornady XTP 1.985" OAL
Lil' Gun
Starting 33.3gr @ 1714 FPS
Max 37gr @ 1867
Velocity's are from a 15" TC Encore

Starline brass
350 gr. jacketed bullet @ 2.250" OAL
M.V. = 2000 fps.

Another option is using 296 or H110 which will no doubt still produce velocity in the 2K range, but with a little less powder, and slightly higher pressure. Make no mistake, regardless of which of those powder's mentioned you should load, pressures are still going to be nothing short of being on the extreme for that cartridge.

You are not figuring the pressure relief caused by the cylinder gap of the revolvers. Your statement is true IF the "handgun" you refer to is a TC encore. BUT the cylinder gap of a Smith or other BFR will show a decrease in pressure/velocity.

That said, use any data provided for the 500, just start low and work up watching for pressure signs and difficult extraction.
