58 remington faux ivory grips

I've seen a few remmys with the faux ivory grips and took a liken to them real well. where would be the best place to buy them. also i've heard something about having to measure them or make an outline. whats the deal with that or is it just for the colts. any help would be appreciated.

Grip frames vary between different manufacturers whether it be Colt or Remington clones, so an out line is required. That's what with it.

Grips vary in size gun to gun within the same manufacturer.

You start with a oversize grip and fit it to your frame. Tombstone makes a nice grip that is affordable.
